At JG we are always looking for hard working individuals to join our team.  We have several divisions (Drywall, Insulation, Waterproofing, Garage doors, shelving, shower door installs).  Needless to say we do A LOT and have strong relationships with many local builders and developers that we see to be busy most of the year- if not all.   

Positions Currently Hiring

Insulation installers:   

  • Need to report to the warehouse to start and end shift in Carnegie, PA.  
  • Start 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday. 
  • Job requires a valid drivers license with a good driving record.  
  • No experience necessary.  
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, rarely up to 100 lbs, and frequently up to 25 lbs
  • frequent walking, travelling up and down stairs, and squatting and reaching work.
  • Must be able to handle work at heights (we use scaffolds, ladders, and stilts), must also be okay with smaller spaces (we frequently are insulating attics and basements).   
  • Starting pay is $13.50/hr and after probationary period (training) there will be a 0.50 pay bump.  And when ready there will be an opportunity to earn footage rates.

INSURANCE


  • Eligible for benefits the start of the month after 60 days of employment must work a minimum of 30 hrs/week to be eligible.  
  • The Company offers medical insurance in which the Company pays 50% of all the coverage levels.  We provide two options to our employees on plans with a strong area carrier, presently UPMC.  
  • The Company pays 100% for Group Term Life and AD&D policy for 25,000 with FREE will preparation service
  • Voluntary benefits: the company negotiated group rates for employees, however does not contribute to the premium.  Dental, Vision, Short term Disability, Voluntary Life, and Accident Insurance

RETIREMENT


  • Company sponsored 401k plan is available after 1 year of service.  Company will match 50% of employee contribution up to 5% of annual gross pay.  Deductions are pre-tax.  Must be employed on 12/31 of that year to earn the match.  Vesting for the match after 6 years fully vested and will receive all match.  If leave prior to 6 years, will lose a portion of the match based on years of service.  


PAID TIME OFF


  • After 90 days of employment, will be eligible for holiday pay. (New Years, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)
  • After 1 year of employment:  eligible for PTO     1 year of service = 7 PTO days, After 5 years of service= 12 PTO days.  After 1 year and 5 year anniversary PTO will be prorated for that year and then will have full amount at start of calendar year.


BONUS PROGRAM


  • The Company offers a quarterly bonus program to full time, hourly employees that at the start of the quarter are not in their probationary period.  An additional $200 is available to those who meet the program expectations.
